Hello here my friends
Let’s figure it out. Protein is the only nutrient in our body that can only come from outside sources. Carbs, or more precisely glycogen, can be taken from the liver and muscles, fats from the fat on your butt, but to get protein, you’ll have to destroy all your muscles.
Therefore, it is natural that anyone who is professionally involved in bodybuilding, who, I hasten to remind you, has accelerated protein synthesis, consumes large amounts of this very protein.
But does it matter where we get this protein from: a protein bar, chicken breast, or beans?
Yes, and again, yes.
Different sources of protein have different amino acid profiles and different degrees of absorption, which naturally affects their nutritional value. That is why bodybuilders try to change their protein source with every meal: eggs and egg whites in the morning, then protein, then chicken or turkey, then salmon or beef.
No one pro bodybuilder will get their protein intake from protein bars and beans. Protein bars contain a bunch of crap besides protein, and beans don’t have a complete amino acid profile and consist mainly of carbs.
That’s why we always pay close attention to what we eat, not because we are picky or fussy, but because what we eat directly affects our shape and well-being.
