What to do when you feel hungry while on a diet?
Be patient!
This is, of course, the obvious answer to this question.
But when you have to work with different people, and when some of them are compete in their first competitions and going through their first cut, it doesn’t seem as easy for them as it does for experienced athletes, and that’s why I’ll try to look at it from different angles
How can you make your life a little easier and slightly reduce the intensity of constant ravenous hunger? Well, let’s start with the fact that hunger varies and very often the intensity of hunger is directly related to our boredom. Remember how, as children, we used to play outside all day, and our parents couldn’t get us to come home to eat, and none of us suffered from ravenous hunger? Why was that? Because we were having fun and didn’t have time to think about food.
So, the first rule is: you must constantly keep yourself busy with something that brings you pleasure.
To reduce the physical sensations of hunger, you definitely need to increase the amount of protein in your diet, as well as increase the amount of vegetables you eat at each meal and increase your water intake.
This will make your life a little easier, but you can’t completely eliminate hunger, because it is an integral and necessary part of your transformation. Remember that in this situation, you are in charge, not your hunger.
